Our babies--Bella and our little growing peanut!

Well, I do believe that our little Westie, Bella, can sense that something is happening to mama as my belly grows bigger. Lately, she has been constantly wanting to be by my side as if she knows what is going on. The other day I got kind of emotional at a commercial that I saw on television and Bella just came by my side and brushed her face against my hand until I calmed down---it was just a commercial!!! These hormones are taking over but I have the most supporting husband and dog a girl could ask for. :-)
This past week was a crazy one--a little out of the ordinary actually. We woke up early Tuesday morning to pouring rain and flooded streets. All schools were cancelled so I did not have to go to work, which was wonderful. Clayton attempted to get to work as he left our house at 6:15 in the morning and had to finally turn around and come home at 9:30--never making it to work. The hard worker that he is--he got in his car and made it to work by 1:00pm--he is such a good man. :-)
We are going to the doctor on Tuesday for our 31 week check up. Our baby has hiccups at least twice a day--one time in the morning and always at night before bed. :-) The baby has also been kicking a lot more lately and making turns in my belly, which feels like an alien inside. Our nephew Garrett told me last night, "Aunt Boo, it is just so crazy that you have an actual person inside of you and you are a person--that is so wierd." He is right--but it is the most amazing feeling ever and I love being pregnant! :-)
I hope you enjoy our pictures of our dog, Bella, and me and this belly--I promise when the baby comes you'll see nothing but BABY!
Take care!
