Our Darling Little Abigail

Abigail sitting with her Aunt April and Cousin Ashleigh on Saturday after Garrett's football game. Ashleigh is always asking about Abigail and loves being around her. She always tries to help feed her, but she says that she does not want to change any diapers. :-)
Sunday evening we all went to Grandpa Don's house and Abigail spent about 5 hours playing, cooing, and taking in her surroundings that she was so tired right before we went home and fell fast asleep on Mimi's shoulder.

Here is a shot of her right before she fell asleep.

She is cooing so much these days that it is hard to feed her because she seems to just want to talk all the time about what is going on in her little world.

Here is my brother Todd (Uncle Todd) and our nephew Garrett right after he played so hard in his football game. We love going to Garrett's football games--they are so cute!

Garrett is in there somewhere--#45

Here is Abigail with her cool shades at her cousin's football game.

Another shot of our little diva cheering on her big cuz'

Abigail is really learning how to sit up on her own now. The only assistance she is requiring in this photo is a boopy pillow that is barely touching her. We are so proud of our little girl!! We love her so much!
So there you go, Abigail is learning new things everyday and she is making her mommy and daddy so proud and happy in every way! I look at her everyday and wonder how on earth did I get so blessed to have her in my life. Clayton and I thank God everyday for our little miracle and cannot wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Abigail is learning how to hold objects and toys with both of her hands. It is the cutest thing watching her learn how to use her hands.

She got it! She was so excited when she realized she was holding the ball herself.

Abigail's First Yorktown Western Days in the country!

This past weekend we drove down to Nordheim, Texas (Clayton's hometown) to visit family and for Abigail to go to her very first Yorktown Western Days!!! Abigail had such a busy weekend with friends and family that she slept for a full 8 hours on Sunday night without ever changing positions!! Wow, what a tired baby!! She did so many things like attend her first parade outside, sit on a horse, and laughed for the first time with her grandpa. I actually got the first belly laugh on video and I am trying to figure out how to download it to the blog. Mommy and daddy did everything we could to keep out little girl out of the sun on Saturday, but of course she still got some sun to her cheeks and I was beside myself feeling like a terrible mother because you should have seen me use all I could to prevent sunlight to her face (like hold a blanket in front of her stroller as we walked--almost tripping on myself the entire time)

Aside from the sun we all had a wonderful weekend together. Here are some pictures that captured our memories.

Abigail and her daddy on her Great Aunt Andra's horse in the country.

She doesn't know what to think about this horse.

Here is Abigail with her cousin Layne, who is 7 months old. You can tell that they really love each other already and that they will be close cousins.

Abigail is so interested in Layne and vice versa. It is so cute watching them interact and talk to each other as if they know what they are saying.

Abigail with her Grandpa Wisian. He was making pig noises and making her laugh--it was so cute. What a little country baby already--loves those farm animals!

Abigail with her Great-Grandma Wisian--such a sweet moment and memory for our daughter to be with her Great Grandmother.

Clayton with his little girl.

Mommy and Abigail--I of course have to put the cutest bows and headbands on my little girl before she starts pulling them out.

Another shot of mommy and daughter.

Our beautiful little princess.

I think she had a little too much of Western Days at this point.

Here is Abigail with her grandma getting ready for the parade to start on Saturday morning. It was actually kind of chilly so we had our little girl all bundled up in her denim attire.

Here is a picture of Clayton's aunt and uncle and his little cousins, Hans and Trent.

She was the warmest and best dressed baby out there.

As you can see Abigail is doing great. She keeps her mommy and daddy busy but we wouldn't have it any other way. Being parents is such a blessing and it is amazing how good it feels to wake up and look at your baby every morning. She is growing so fast and learning so many things everyday. Thank you for taking to time to look at our family blog to keep up with how she is doing. We feel honored that you are interested and excited to see Abigail grow. :-)

Her Baptism

We just had to get a picture of her in her gown before we took it off to get into more comfy clothes.

Aunt Kelli knows exactly how to make Abigail laugh!

Still smiling like crazy!

She just loves her Aunt Kelli/Godmother!

The Wisian's with Father Sean

Uncle Wes holding his little niece. She is a little lighter than his beautiful 7 month old boy. I absolutely love that Abigail and Layne (her cousin) are only 4 months apart.

Abigal with her Aunt Kelli and Uncle Todd who are also her Godparents.

Her mommy and daddy are so proud of her. God has truly blessed us.

Abigail was Baptized this weekend at our church. I bought her a Baptismal gown from Strasburg Children's Collection at the Galleria and the bonnet that she is wearing is one that her Nana got her when she was born. I am going to have her bonnet and gown heirloomed for her so that she can have it one day for her little girl. The white bonnet can be used as a "hanky" for Abigail to carry with her at her own wedding. Clayton and I were truly moved on this special day. I of course teared up at the ceremony every time I looked day at our precious baby girl that God blessed up with. We could not be happier right now and thank God every minute of everyday for our blessings.
