Thanksgiving

Kelli, April, and I at my future sister-in-law's Bachelorette Party in downtown Houston. I am so excited and cannot wait for Kelli to marry my brother, Todd in three weeks! The countdown is on! Kelli is such a great person and we welcome her into our family with open arms! Abigail is pretty excited as well--she just loves Kelli (always smiling when Kelli talks to her--the cutest thing)
My good friend Jacquelyn with Abigail at yummy P.F. Chang's. Jacquelyn and I worked together at MedCare Pediatric Therapy group a couple of years ago. She is such a great Physical Therapist and a wonderful friend. She and her husband are expecting their first baby boy in January 2010 and we are so excited for them! Abigail is patiently awaiting the arrival of her new little playmate and so are we!

Abigail with her Grandpa Don right before eating some good Thanksgiving dinner! It makes my heart melt seeing my dad hold my baby girl! He is such a great father to me and is being an even better grandfather to our daughter. We love him so much!

Abigail eating all of her sweet potatoes and carrots for dinner! She absolutely LOVES to eat her food--like her mama and her daddy.

Taking a pause from eating.
We had a wonderful Wisian Family Thanksgiving at our home this year. Clayton and I prepared a wonderful turkey dinner and my dad and Patsy came over and brought some yummy sweet potatoes and the good bubbly to toast with. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. This weekend we have spent the majority of the time at home decorating for Christmas. We bought a Christmas Tree last night and I am about to go decorate it with my husband. The garland is hung around the banister and I will take pictures ASAP.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Holiday Season!!

Baby Girl Abigail is 4 Months old--Look how much she has grown!!

It is Abigail's new thing to sit up on her own away from mommy. She loves to look at herself in the mirror and we often find her laughing at herself--the cutest thing!

...Still looking at her beautiful self.

She was getting a little tired after sitting up for awhile so she decided to lean back. :-)
Yes, she is getting plenty to eat--as you can see the cheeks. :-)

Once again looking at herself while on her tummy.

She was talking to herself for like 2 minutes---I had the digital camera in one hand taking still photos while the video camera was running in the other hand. Mommies can really mutli-task.

Abigail is not really rolling over yet but she is rolling back and forth on her side and cannot quite get how to move her arm over. She enjoys being on her tummy to where she can do mini-push ups.

A happy girl!

We went to the doctor this week for our 4 month check up and the doctor told me to start slowly introducing foods to Abigail. So far she is a good little eater--still learning how to work her tongue so mealtime is a little messy but oh so much fun!

Abigail has also started teething. The doctor told me that she could feel those teefies coming in so Abigail spends a lot of her time munching on everything.

A nice picture of daddy feeding Abigail.

Abigail loves her bathtime and enjoys snuggling up in her ducky robe.
Abigail turned 4 months old on November 7, 2009 and she has definitely grown. We went to her 4 month check up with our pediatrician and Abigail is right on target with everything. She weiged 16 pounds, 2 ounces (97 percentile), she was 25.5 inches long (90-97th Percentile) and her head circumference was also in the 97th percentile. Her doctor noted that Abigail is cooing and talking like a 6 month old. I told her that our Abigail just has so much to say. It is the cutest thing because when we feed Abigail she talks to us in between each bite of food. She also does this when she is taking her milk. She takes a few sips of milk and then stops, looks up at me, talks for about 3 seconds, and then goes back to eating. It takes Abigail a loooonnngg time to finish her meals but these moments are priceless.

Abigail's First Halloween and Texas Renaissance Festival

Well the Wisian's had a crazy and exciting weekend as I am sure everyone did for Halloween! It was Abigail's very first Halloween so of course we went all out. Back in September Clayton and I bought both Bella and Abigail matching ladybug costumes; however, Abigail was WAAAYY too big to fit into her costum but we of course dressed Bella up in her costume and there are pictures to prove it. Since Abigail already outgrew her costume we had to quickly come up with another one for our little cutie, so we got to thinkin'. Abigail truly loves the "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" cartoon that comes on every morning on Disney's Playhouse. It is terrible but when she is fussy and nothing else seems to work, we put the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on and instantly she stops, coos, and smiles at her Mickey and Minnie Mouse. I have video to prove it and I am trying to figure out how to download videos onto the blog because it is the funniest thing. I feel bad because when I am getting ready for work in the mornings Abigail keeps herself entertained for awhile with Mickey and Minnie. Therefore, I of course knew that Abigail just HAD to be Minnie Mouse for Halloween!!!

Abigail and mommy made Halloween cookies while daddy drove to College Station for the Aggie game. When he got home we all jumped in the car and went to my sister's house to go trick-o-treating with my niece and nephew and some other friends. Ashleigh, our neice, really loves her cousin Abigail and can always make her smile.

After a long evening of getting way too much candy we decided to head to the Texas Renaissance Festival on Sunday since it was an absolutely beautiful day here in Houston. Abigail was awake through the whole day--not wanting to miss a thing of course. She finally fell asleep towards the very end of the day. It was a great day spent with her Grandpa Don--we had such a good time that I think we will be going back this year. :-)

Here is a picture of my dad, crazy Grandpa Don getting ready to throw axes at the Texas Renaissance Festival on Sunday.

Abigail finally taking her nap on Sunday at the Festival. It was like she was doing all she could to stay awake so she wouldn't miss anything. :-)

Here is my handsome husband throwing knives at the festival. Throwing the knives were a lot harder than the axes.

Mommy, Abigail and Daddy together. Abigail is sitting on her daddy's shoulders (note how she is looking at the action--see what I mean about not wanting to miss anything!)

Ashleigh and Abigail buddies already! Ashleigh was a little mermaid for Halloween--soo precious!

Ashleigh making Abigail laugh in her Minnie Mouse dress.

Ashleigh, Garrett (as a marine) and friends getting ready to go get some candy.

My girls.

My little sunshine girl helping her mommy bake some yummy halloween cookies in her costume. We had a girls day in the kitchen--such a good helper.

Here is Bella all dressed up. It took Clayton quite awhile to finally get Bella in her Ladybug costume and once it was on her, Bella just stood there and didn't move a muscle. I think she was a little freaked out on having to dress up. :-) Made a great memory though.

Our Bella Hound Dog (as Clayton calls her)

Clayton stuggling to put on her gear.

Still working at it...

Here is Abigail in her Ladybug costume. The only think that would semi-fit was the head piece, but there was absolutely no way we could fit her body in the suit. She has gotten SO big and is outgrowing everything. I am so happy she is growing.

Abigail dressed in her "My First Halloween" onesie to go out to eat with her mommy and daddy on Friday night.

All bundled up to go on a family walk around the neighborhood.

We love the memories that we are making as a family---they are simply priceless and we cannot wait to share them all with you. :-) Happy Halloween everyone!!
