A Little Update on our Beautiful Baby Girl!

Now that our Buggy's cast has been off for almost two months she is slowly, but surely, beginning to move her left leg a little more everyday.  She has grown so much these past few weeks--y'all would be amazed at all she does.  Here is a little list of the new skills she has learned within the past few weeks...
1. Buggy waves "bye bye" at the appropriate times
2. She has learned to say "hi"
3. She blows kisses with her hands
4. Abigail will now open books, turn the pages, and when she is looking at the pictures on the page she will use her little pointer finger to point at the pictures and babble as if she is reading the words.
5. She will do her very best to mimic snapping fingers
6. She has learned how to use the sign for "more" appropriately when wanting more to eat or more of the "horsey horsey" game.
7.  She loves to point to an object with an isolated index finger and babble to you as if she is telling you a story.
8. New words she has learned to say:  "Mama, Da Da, Ella (for Bella, her doggie), it (for sit--because her mommy and daddy tell Bella to sit ALL the time), No (that is a great one for little ones to learn let me tell ya), "Hi", and "bu ba"--for bye bye.
9. She tries to imitate the hand motions for the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" song--the cutest thing yet!
10.  She tries to share everything with her mommy and daddy.  When she is playing with a toy or picking up food to eat she will frequently extend her hand out to Clayton or myself to try to give us what she has--such a sweetie pie!

She has learned how to scoot on her bottom all over the floor and will attempt to transition into a crawling position but she would rather scoot than crawl at the moment.  Our little Buggy may only want to learn how to walk and she may just pass up on the whole crawling thing all together. Her fine motor skills are pretty advanced as it is so we will just work on improving those gross motor skills.  I plan to enroll her in classes at the Little Gym and Gymboree this summer and we are both excited.  Abigail absolutely loves other babies and kids.  When she sees or hears another baby or child in a public area--her head turns so fast and she just starts laughing and does all she can to reach out and touch that other baby or kid.

Here are some new photos of Baby Girl as we celebrate her 11 month birthday!

I just had to end with a serious face from Little Miss Abigail

We love you all!!
