Our little Buggy-Boo is 14 months old and growing!!!

Two weekends ago we went to my dad's house to celebrate a "surprise" birthday BBQ (even though he knew about it)  Abigail loves going over to Grandpa Don's and Yia Yia's house and has gotten very close to them.  It is such a joy to see my dad bond with my daughter--priceless moments!  Abigail immediately went in the pool with everyone and I think she stayed in the pool for 3 hours---no joke!  Our child is a water baby for sure!!  Then we enjoyed each other's company over great food and music--the artist, "Meatloaf" was a visitor as well. :-)  We had such a wonderful time--as we always do, visiting my dad and Patsy.  He is a great father and I hope he had a great birthday!!!

Last weekend we all made a trip to Nordheim, TX, Clayton's hometown, to visit family and of course Clayton wanted to go dove hunting.  We wanted to leave town on Friday night to get an early start on Dove Hunting but Clayton had to work and we didn't head out until Saturday morning.  Anyone with kids knows the difficulty of packing and getting out of town at a time you desired, but we eventually made it!  When we got there, Clayton was a little disappointed to see that it was raining--and it rained all weekend.  It was kind of nice though because it really made us all visit in the house.  We had such a good time seeing everyone and here are some pictures of our visit.

We are so blessed to be able to have my mom take care of Abigail while I go to work.  Every morning when she wakes up she immediately says, "My Nana" and she is looking for her Nana!  They have such a special bond and I thank God they have each other.

Yesterday, we took Abigail to her first Gymboree class and she LOVED it!!! She was definitely the most advanced child in her class--vocabulary unbelievable compared to her peers in the class.  Although her gross motor skills are delayed, she definitely makes up for it in fine motor and language skills.  We also became members of the Houston Zoo; therefore, we took opportunity of Clayton's half day off and took her to the Zoo following her Gymboree class--we had a wonderfully fulfilled day.  We ended the evening by meeting up with my dad and Patsy and going to dinner--what a great Friday!  We love all of you soo much!
