Work for both Clayton and myself have been going well--no complaints and so happy to be where we are at. We are so incredibly blessed everyday and there are so many things in our lives to be grateful for.
We took Abigail to her very first Aggie football game in Aggieland yesterday and let me tell you--this kid was definitely born an Aggie. Our child absolutely loved everything about being there. I was a nervous mother thinking my daughter would just cry the whole day, but she didn't! We arrive in College Station at around 2:30 for a 6pm game. We parked the car, walked to the quad and watched "step off" and the Corps March In. I tried to explain to Abigail that this is what daddy did when he went to A&M--she just simply laughed as the Fish (a.k.a. Freshmen) ran by us with their arms raised up in the air and yelling at the top of their lungs. She thought it was hilarious as I was prepared for the whole thing to scare her. It was such a surreal feeling holding my daughter as I walked passed the Corps dorms where I would wait for my honey to come meet me after class so we could go to lunch together when we were dating. Then it really was wierd to watch Clayton walk through the quad as he was holding our daughter. It was great to take her back to the place where "we" began and where her mommy and daddy spent so much time walking together and falling in love when she was just a thought in both of our minds.
After the march in we met up with some friends at their tailgate--once again Abigail was a little trooper--so good! We made it to the game just in time for kick off and Abigail had a good time talking to everyone around us and would occasionally look at the field and point. She fell asleep in our arms around the 2nd quarter and woke up just in time to see the Aggie Band at halftime--which she loved! We left the game with about 7 minutes left in the 3rd quarter because it was getting late. She proved that Aggie games are her thing and we will definitely take her to many more in the future!
Below you will find some pictures of her first Aggie game experience and then there is a video of Abigail learning how to crawl!!!
She crashed in my arms.
Here is the video of Abigail learning how to crawl on her own--we are sooo proud of her--she has been through so much!!
